what they do: The Runaways were one of the first all girl rock and roll bands from the 70s. And wow, could they rock! This group of 16 year old girls, including Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, got together in 1976. Though they broke up in 1979 they toured the world, rocked hard and put out 5 albums. Be sure to go see the major motion picture movie, The Runaways, released in 2010 starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.

what we do: We needed to create something that looked cutting edge for the late seventies but with real 2010 technology. All of the type is hand drawn, like a punk flyer. The scrapbook is the centerpiece of the site, giving die hard fans little facts and stories and more than just a glimpse into personal lives and collective history. Site developed by Dexter Wayne.
