what they do: After four years of trying to fit in, a documentary about standing out. This is the story of applying to college. The nine kids in this film have complicated but important stories to tell. They are brave and smart and tenacious. Each of them has dreams. Each of them fears disappointment. Somewhere between the two lies the journey of their lifetime. The essays they write are a first attempt to create road.

what we do: We created a website that would house all information pertaining to the documentary, we also customized a blog for the 500 Words team so they can keep you in tuned to what they are up to.
